Lemon-Spiced Roasted Carrots with Dill & Oat Fraîche (Citronkryddade Morötter med Dillkräm)
A fresh and tangy side dish with classic Nordic flavors — sweet carrots, lemony spice, and creamy dill. Great with grilled dishes or as a vegan centerpiece.
đź§‚ Ingredients:
500 g carrots, peeled and halved lengthwise
1 tbsp olive oil
1–2 tsp Santa Maria BBQ Spice Lemon
100 ml oat fraîche or plant-based crème fraîche
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill
Optional: lemon zest and flaky salt for garnish
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Toss carrots with olive oil and BBQ Spice Lemon. Spread on a baking sheet.
Roast for 20–25 minutes, until tender and slightly caramelized.
In a bowl, mix oat fraîche with dill and a pinch of salt.
Serve the warm carrots with a spoonful of dill cream and optional lemon zest on top.
