Borgens' business mainly consists of the production of preserved mushrooms and fresh soups.
The mushrooms are both Swedish and imported, and we work with both wild and cultivated mushroom varieties. The mushrooms are washed and cleaned by hand before being put in the jar and then sterilized in an autoclave to become fully preserved.
The fresh soups are prepared in a separate part of the factory. They are packed in portioned packaging with a so-called protective atmosphere to extend their shelf life.
