The founders of BioSalma, Johan and Emil, have spent their professional careers working with food in various capacities, from cooking as chefs to delving into the smallest molecules that make up food and its function in the body.

The journey with BioSalma begins in the Norwegian fjords with the amber-colored salmon oil, during their time working in the Norwegian fishing industry.

Sustainability is an inherent part of BioSalma's operations, extending beyond individual products or packaging. Sustainability is a fundamental requirement encompassing all aspects of their operations, from transportation and production locations to the types of ingredients we source.

BioSalma takes particular pride in being the world's first with their double eco-labeled Omega-3 (MSC & ASC), locally produced in Norway using exclusively Norwegian ingredients.
