Chocolate Fudgy Cocoa Cookies (with Fazer Eyes cocoa)
Ingredients
1 ¾ cup (220 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (50 g) Fazer Eyes cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
½ cup (100 g) brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (175 g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat to 175 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, Fazer Eyes cocoa, baking powder, and salt.Cream Butter & Sugars
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.Add Eggs & Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.Combine
Gradually add the dry mix into the wet mix and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if you like.Shape the Cookies
Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto your baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart.Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.Cool & Enjoy
Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 min and then transfer to a rack — enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Serving Tip
Pair with a hot cocoa made by mixing a couple of teaspoons of Fazer Eyes cocoa with warm milk and a bit of sugar for an extra indulgent treat.
