Kavli Remoulade sauce is a wonderfully creamy sauce with curry and crispy vegetable pieces.
Fits perfectly with most fish dishes and also gilds other dishes such as chicken, meat, cold cuts and fried potatoes.
Scandinavian Potato & Green Bean Salad with Kavli Remoulade
A creamy, tangy potato salad with a Nordic twist—no mayo needed.
Ingredients (4 servings)
800 g waxy potatoes
200 g green beans
1 small red onion, finely sliced
1 dl Kavli Remoulade Sauce
1–2 tbsp Dijon or Swedish mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
Fresh dill, finely chopped
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional add-ins:
Capers
Pickled cucumber
Peas or asparagus
Instructions
Cook the potatoes
Boil potatoes with skin on in salted water until just tender. Let cool slightly, then slice.Blanch the green beans
Cook beans in boiling salted water for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender. Rinse in cold water and cut into bite-size pieces.Mix the dressing
In a large bowl, combine Kavli Remoulade Sauce, mustard, vinegar/lemon juice, and a generous amount of dill.Assemble
Add potatoes, green beans, and red onion. Gently fold until evenly coated.Season & rest
Season with salt and pepper. Let the salad rest for 15–20 minutes before serving so the flavors develop.
