Classic Swedish-Style Tacos with Santa Maria Taco Spice Mix

A family-friendly taco night favorite in Sweden, featuring seasoned minced meat, fresh toppings, and Santa Maria’s signature mild spice blend.

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 400g minced beef or plant-based mince

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil or butter

  • 1 sachet Santa Maria Taco Spice Mix, Mild

  • 100 ml water

  • 8 taco shells or soft tortillas

  • Shredded lettuce

  • Diced tomatoes

  • Grated cheese

  • Sour cream

  • Guacamole

  • Santa Maria Taco Sauce (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil or butter in a frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced meat and cook until browned.

  3. Stir in the Santa Maria Taco Spice Mix and water.

  4. Simmer uncovered for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

  5. Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to the package instructions.

  6. Fill each shell with the seasoned meat and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and taco sauce if desired.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
