Usage
Before applying Abilar® 10% resin ointment, the skin area should be cleaned with water or saline solution and dried. In home use, the ointment is applied thinly directly to the treatment area and protected with plasters or wound dressings. Apply Abilar to the irritated area twice a day until the skin has healed.

In case of chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds, Abilar® 10% resin ointment should be applied to the wound and protected with a wound dressing. For a dry wound, a regular wound dressing is recommended. For wounds that have abundant secretion, dressings with good absorbency are recommended. If the wound has cavities or fistulas, a compress or wound dressing impregnated with Abilar can be used. The dressing must be changed daily or every other day.

Abilar is not recommended on mucous membranes, in the eyes or mouth, and not for internal use.

When treating chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds, it is important to follow the doctor's or nurse's advice.
