Coconut oil for both health and skin!
Coconut oil can be made in several ways, and it can be used for any number of things. It is popular in smart food, in cooking and as skin care. Whatever you want to use coconut oil for – make sure you have the best!

What is coconut oil?
Take a ripe, organically grown coconut from a coconut palm. Press the white flesh in a large press. Organic coconut oil comes out. The oil melts already at 25 degrees Celsius. So if it is warm outside, the oil is transparent and liquid. If it is room temperature or cooler, it is whitish and more solid. Then it can be called coconut fat, but it is exactly the same product.

How do you get the highest quality oil?
There are different ways to get the oil from the flesh. Our oil is cold-pressed, which means that no heat has been used. Only pressing, completely mechanically. This type of coconut oil is called “virgin oil”. There is also hot-pressed and refined oil, but not with us at Pureness, which protects the nutritional content. The cold-pressed coconut oil has been handled carefully, so that all the important fatty acids and nutrients are retained.

Is coconut oil healthy to eat?
Among other things, the saturated fats in coconut are considered to be unusually good for their content of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT). MCT provides rapid energy conversion, without it being stored as fat in the body. It can therefore be a healthier alternative than, for example, butter – and is particularly popular within LCHF.

Coconut oil in the kitchen
Coconut oil is excellent to heat up and can therefore be used as frying fat and cooking oil in your cooking and baking. It has no trans fats in it and cannot even form trans fats when heated. Since our oil is cold-pressed, the good aroma and taste are also retained. In LCHF and biohacking, it is popular to have a dab of coconut oil in your morning coffee – but then try our MCT Oil even better!

Coconut oil in the bathroom cabinet
The oil is great for beauty routines. Coconut oil has certain anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial properties and can work well against fungus. It can also make your skin smooth, and is nice to use on the body after the shower. Some people use coconut oil as a hair mask, others as a makeup remover, when shaving, for eczema or as an after sun. Gargling with coconut oil can reduce bacteria in the mouth and is a good complement to brushing your teeth.

Coconut oil for anything
If all this wasn't enough, you can use coconut oil to lubricate leather, furniture or frying pans. To use as lighter fluid or to lubricate locks and hinges. As I said, there is almost too much to say about coconut oil! We will limit ourselves to this, and instead encourage you to test it yourself, with the best coconut oil you can find.
