NORDBO Omega-3 & Astaxanthin combines fresh, ASC-certified fish oil from Danish trout with the high-dose astaxanthin AstaPure®.
The fish oil, which is produced in Jutland (Denmark), is uniquely fresh - from fish to oil it takes only 4 hours. The oil has a natural fatty acid profile with omega-3, 6, 7, 9 and 11, corresponding to oily fish.
ASC is a global sustainability label for farmed fish, which ensures sustainable production and good animal husbandry. The fish live in clean freshwater ponds and each batch is fully traceable and quality assured.
The oil is made from 100% waste, which means that we use the omega-rich parts of the fish that would otherwise be thrown away.
AstaPure® is an astaxanthin extract extracted from blood rain algae. The algae is naturally rich in the colorful antioxidant that has a strong red color. Astaxanthin is classified as a carotenoid and is the substance that, among other things, gives salmon its pink hue. Since astaxanthin is a fat-soluble substance, it is advantageously combined with fish oil.
Two capsules a day provide a full 4 mg of astaxanthin.
Omega-3 contains DHA and EPA, which contribute to the normal function of the heart and brain. The effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
The jar is made of glass and the lid is made of metal. Glass and metal can be recycled infinitely and provide complete protection against moisture and air.
