Nicotinamide riboside chloride is the salt form of nicotinamide riboside, also known as NR. NR is a type of vitamin B3 that is a precursor to the active coenzyme NAD+ and is converted to it in the body. NAD+ is needed in the mitochondria (the powerhouse of cells) and contributes to normal energy metabolism. NAD+ levels naturally decrease with age.
Resveratrol is a plant polyphenol that is found naturally in, among other things, parkslide and is a popular ingredient in both internal and external skin care.
AstaBead™ is an Icelandic, standardized extract of the antioxidant astaxanthin, a pigment extracted from microalgae. Astaxanthin has a documented effect on skin firmness and radiance. Studies show that astaxanthin helps improve skin texture, increase moisture balance and reduce the depth of fine lines and wrinkles. AstaBead™ contains 5% astaxanthin, making it a very stable source.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, which is important for the normal function of the skin. Vitamin C also supports the normal function of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress. Calcium ascorbate is an acid-neutral form of vitamin C that is gentle on the stomach.

The recommended dosage should not be exceeded. If you have difficulty swallowing, the capsule can be opened and the contents sprinkled in a liquid of your choice (avoid heat to preserve the nutrients). Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
