Vegan Smørrebrød with Kalles Kaviar (Plant-Based Roe Toast)

A creamy, tangy, salty open-faced sandwich with all the elegance of a Copenhagen café — 100% plant-based, but full of traditional flavor.

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of dark rye bread or Danish rugbrød

  • Vegan cream cheese (store-bought or homemade with cashews/tofu)

  • 2–3 tsp Kalles Kaviar Vegan

  • Sliced cucumber or radish

  • Fresh dill for garnish

  • Optional: lemon zest or finely chopped red onion

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Spread a generous layer of vegan cream cheese over each slice of rye bread.

  2. Add thin cucumber or radish slices for crunch and freshness.

  3. Pipe or spoon Kalles Vegan Kaviar in a decorative swirl on top.

  4. Garnish with dill. Add a little lemon zest or red onion if you want more bite.
