There is an area in the middle of the retina of the eye called the macula. It is also called the macula, and many people suffer from age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is the most common cause of vision loss in older people.
VitalVision contains the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin naturally found in the macula. Carotenoids are a provitamin that can be converted into vitamin A in the body, which is needed for the normal function of the eye.
VitalVision also contains zinc to help maintain normal vision, as well as the antioxidants copper, vitamins C and E to protect cells against oxidative stress.
