Apricot jam from Den Gamle Fabrik. Fantastically delicious jam with a wonderful apricot flavor. Perfect on the breakfast table or with a cheese platter! The best thing after the taste is the new easy-to-open lid. Den Gamle Fabrik has been making jams from the finest fruits and berries for over 175 years. Just like in the old days, the jam is made in open pots under gentle heating. It is a winning concept for preserving the natural flavor of the ingredients and maintaining the delicious berries and fruit pieces that add that little extra.


Apricot Marmalade & Thyme Puff Pastry Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)

  • 4–5 tbsp Den Gamle Fabrik Apricot Marmelade

  • 100 g vegan cream cheese (or regular cream cheese)

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried)

  • 1 handful sliced almonds (optional)

  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare pastry: Cut puff pastry sheet into 6–8 rectangles or squares. Score a 1 cm border around each piece (don’t cut all the way through).

  3. Mix filling: Stir cream cheese with maple syrup/honey until smooth.

  4. Assemble: Spread a thin layer of cream cheese inside the scored border. Top with 1 tsp apricot marmalade. Sprinkle with thyme and almonds.

  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until pastry is golden and puffed.

  6. Finish: Sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea salt before serving.
