Creamy Seafood Pasta with Blå Band Smögen Sauce

A rich and flavorful pasta dish that brings together the delicate taste of seafood with the creamy, aromatic notes of Blå Band Smögen Sauce.

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 sachet Blå Band Smögen Sauce

  • 250g pasta (e.g., fettuccine or linguine)

  • 200g mixed seafood (e.g., shrimp, mussels, and squid)

  • 2.5 dl milk

  • 25g butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Fresh dill for garnish

  • Salt and pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a saucepan, whisk the contents of the Blå Band Smögen Sauce sachet with 2.5 dl of milk.

  3. Bring the sauce to a boil while stirring, then let it simmer for about 2 minutes.

  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and add 25g of butter. Stir until the butter is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

  5. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  6. Add the mixed seafood to the pan and cook until just done, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Combine the cooked pasta, seafood, and Smögen sauce in a large serving bowl. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly.

  8. Garnish with fresh dill and serve immediately.

💡 Tip: For an extra touch of flavor, squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the dish before serving.
