Creamy Seafood Pasta with Blå Band Smögen Sauce
A rich and flavorful pasta dish that brings together the delicate taste of seafood with the creamy, aromatic notes of Blå Band Smögen Sauce.
🧂 Ingredients:
1 sachet Blå Band Smögen Sauce
250g pasta (e.g., fettuccine or linguine)
200g mixed seafood (e.g., shrimp, mussels, and squid)
2.5 dl milk
25g butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
Fresh dill for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
👩🍳 Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, whisk the contents of the Blå Band Smögen Sauce sachet with 2.5 dl of milk.
Bring the sauce to a boil while stirring, then let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from heat and add 25g of butter. Stir until the butter is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the mixed seafood to the pan and cook until just done, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the cooked pasta, seafood, and Smögen sauce in a large serving bowl. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly.
Garnish with fresh dill and serve immediately.
