The recipe for *Kronans Cederpepparkakor* arrived in northern Hälsingland in the 1920s, originating from the Dingersjö Inn in Njurunda. The inn is one of Europe’s oldest coaching inns, established as far back as 1648. They are still crafted by hand, following long-standing traditions. Their unique flavor, combined with a heartier texture, has made them highly sought after—both within Sweden and beyond its borders.
