Ahlgren's Cars Original came into being when the candy factory tried to make marshmallows. The result was not at all as imagined, instead it was small foam candy pieces that resemble a car. As the cars tasted fantastic, they decided not to change anything!

Try This Recipe: Ahlgrens Bilar Marshmallow Treats

Turn this classic candy into a colorful Scandinavian twist on Rice Krispies Treats!

You’ll need:

  • 1 bag Ahlgrens Bilar (160g)

  • 50g butter

  • 200g marshmallows

  • 6 cups puffed rice cereal

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.

  2. Fold in cereal and chopped Ahlgrens Bilar (leave some whole for decoration).

  3. Press into a buttered pan. Let set, then slice and serve.
