Samarin is a natural remedy traditionally used for heartburn and acid reflux. Samarin contains sodium bicarbonate, which has an acid neutralizing effect in the stomach. Samarin is not suitable for people with reduced kidney function or people who have been prescribed a low-salt diet. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
One effervescent tablet contains the active substances sodium bicarbonate 806.4 mg, potassium bicarbonate 691 mg and sodium citrate 1822 mg as well as citric acid, sodium carbonate, silicon dioxide, macrogol and propylene glycol.
