Kan Jang can be used by adults and children from the age of 12, to relieve cold symptoms. The treatment should be started as soon as possible, i.e. at the first sign that you are about to catch a cold and can last for a maximum of 10 consecutive days.
Kan Jang contains extracts from Russian root, Red sun hat and Malabar nut and is a traditional herbal medicine whose range of use is based exclusively on experience and long-term use. The solution is dark brown with a licorice flavor.
Dosage & use
Adults, the elderly and adolescents from 12 years of age: 15 ml, 2 times daily.
Treatment should start as soon as possible when cold symptoms appear but should not be used for longer periods than 10 days per treatment session. If the symptoms persist longer than 10 days, worsen or if a high fever occurs, a doctor or other healthcare professional should be contacted.
Kan Jang should not be used by atopics, during pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding. May not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Read the package insert carefully before use. Do not take Kan Jang if you are allergic to basket-flowered plants (eg red sun hat, gray nest), have any systemic disease, weakened immune system or high blood pressure.
Storage instructions
Store at a maximum of 25ºC. Store the opened bottle in a refrigerator (2-8 ºC). Store out of sight and reach of children. Store an opened bottle in the refrigerator for a maximum of 4 months.
1 ml contains: 9 mg extract of Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench radix (red sun hat) corresponding to 23-63 mg of dried root from red sun hat. 14 mg extract of Justicia adhatoda L. folium (malabar nut), corresponding to 49-70 mg dried leaves from malabar nut. 2 mg extract of Eleutherococcus senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim.) Maxim. radix (Russian root), corresponding to 34-60 mg of dried root from Russian root. Excipients: Purified water, sorbitol, licorice root extract, horseradish aroma (containing propylene glycol, star anise oil, fennel oil, eucalyptus oil, field mint oil and thyme oil), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), ginger extract, peppermint oil, polysorbate 80, eucalyptus oil, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), and potassium sorbate.
