Bepanthen® ointment is used to prevent and protect against the occurrence of mild skin irritations and superficial cracks in the skin that can occur due to dry skin. Bepanthen® ointment contains dexpanthenol, which is converted to vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) in the skin. Dexpanthenol promotes the building up of the outer skin layer. Bepanthen® ointment is unperfumed and does not contain preservatives or dyes. Bepanthen® ointment is clinically documented.
