Pharbio Omega-3 Forte 70% - 120 Capsules

Pharbio Omega-3 Forte is a dietary supplement with omega-3. Each capsule contains 70% highly concentrated omega-3 with the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA which contribute to the normal function of the heart (when taking 250 mg/day, 1 capsule). The fatty acid DHA contributes to maintaining normal brain function (when taking 250 mg/day, 2 capsules). DHA is especially important for pregnant and lactating women. The mother's intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes in fetuses and infants who are breastfed. These effects are achieved with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 (250 mg of EPA and DHA).

Omega-3 is one of the essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that the body needs but cannot produce on its own. Therefore, it is important that we get omega-3 through our diet. Omega-3 is found, among other things, in foods such as fish and rapeseed oil. The Swedish Food Agency recommends eating fish 2–3 times a week. One capsule of Pharbio Omega-3 Forte per day corresponds to 1.5-2 portions of salmon per week.

Pharbio Omega-3 Forte fish oil is in triglyceride form as it occurs naturally in the fish and is certified by Friend of the Sea. Friend of the Sea is a certification for sustainable fishing and aquaculture. The Omega-3 supplement comes in a package made of recycled plastic, excluding lid, and contains 120 capsules.
