Meatballs with mashed potatoes and Swedish lingonberries
Ingredients

500 g minced beef
1 yellow onion
1 tbsp + 2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp coarse Scanian mustard from Björnekulla
1 dl whipped cream
1/2 dl breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp ground allspice
Mashed potatoes
1 kilo floury potatoes
2 dl milk
1 dl whipped cream
50 g butter
2 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Do this:

Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Drain and mash the potatoes with a potato masher together with milk, cream and butter. Beat until smooth with an electric whisk. Season with salt and pepper.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Fry it in 1 tablespoon of butter. Mix the onion, mustard, cream, egg and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Let it swell for about 5 minutes. Add the minced meat and mix until it forms a smooth minced meat batter. Season with salt, pepper and allspice.
3.
Roll the minced meat into small meatballs and fry on all sides in 2 tablespoons of butter for about 10 minutes.
4.
Serve the meatballs with mash, Björnekullas Swedish lingonberries and Swedish pickled cucumbers.
