BabySemp 1 is a complete breast milk substitute that covers the nutritional needs of infants up to 6 months of age. BabySemp 1 can be given instead of breast milk or as a supplement to breast milk from the baby's first week of life, but only after you have received a recommendation from Child Care or a pediatrician.

During the baby's first 6 months, breastfeeding is recommended. If you can not breastfeed completely or partially, there is a breast milk substitute, but you should always consult Child Care before use.

BabySemp 1 contains:

Milk fat & enrichment with MFGM

Omega 3 & 6 and enrichment with the fatty acids DHA and ARA

GOS (Galactooligosaccharides)

Nucleotides

Low protein content as in breast milk

Lactose as the only carbohydrate source

No palm oil

At 6 months of age, we recommend that you switch to BabySemp 2 supplementary nutrition, which is a supplement to the baby's increasingly varied food.

Dosage & use
Follow the packaging instructions carefully. It is important to take the right amount of powder in relation to the amount of water. Too much powder can cause constipation. Too little powder means that the child gets insufficient energy and nutrition.

Preparation
Wash hands before preparing the infant formula.

Make sure that the pacifier, the bottle and even the saucepan, if used, are clean.

Boil cold water in a saucepan, microwave or kettle and allow to cool to eating temperature.

Measure the water in the baby bottle. NOTE! The markings on the bottle do not always correspond to reality, so check it first by pouring 1 dl of water into the bottle. If the level of 100 ml on the bottle shows, the marking is correct, 2 dl of water in the bottle should show 200 ml.

Add the correct number of powder measurements to the bottle according to the dosing table. Remember that it should be deleted measurements.

Close the bottle and shake lightly until the powder dissolves.

Feel that the mixture is not too hot by dripping a little on the inside of the wrist. Taste before giving to the child.

For the best quality, infant formula should be served as freshly prepared as possible. Compensation that has once been heated should be consumed within an hour and should not be reheated either.

How big a portion?

Age of the child Amount / meal Number of meals / day Amount * / day
0-1 month / 80-150 ml / 5-6 / 400-700 ml
1-2 months / 100-160 ml / 5 / 600-800 ml
2-4 months / 140-200 ml / 5 / 700-1000 ml
4-6 months / 140-250 ml / 4-5 / 700-1200 ml

* The amounts given in the table are approximate because not all children eat the same amount. In the same way as breastfeeding children, parents who provide compensation should let the child control how much and how often they want to eat. The child regulates his intake as needed. The table therefore only serves as a benchmark.

Storage instructions
Store dry, dark and not above normal room temperature. Always store the powder in the original packaging. Opened packaging should be consumed within 1 month.
