TÖRST makes its Organic Lemon with organic lemons from Sicily. The tradition of citrus cultivation in Sicily stretches back over a thousand years, where the island's unique soil and climate create perfect growing conditions. Sicily is considered by many to produce the best lemons in the world, known for their large amount of aromatic oils and fresh acidity.
Production begins with the lemons being washed, after which the whole fruit is grated and mixed in cold water. The acidity from the lemon juice is supplemented with cane sugar to create the right balance between freshness, sweetness and the lemon's aromatic oils. The lemonade is mixed cold and never boiled, this to ensure that all natural freshness is preserved.
