Rooibos flavored with apple, elderflower, raspberry, and blackberry. 16 compostable pyramid tea bags.
16 x 2g compostable pyramid tea bags.
Rooibos
Brew at approximately 95 ºC; steep for 3 minutes or to taste.
Rooibos is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea derived from the *Aspalathus linearis* shrub, grown in South Africa. The tea has an inviting orange-red color and a sweet, mild flavor with notes of rosehip. Unlike green or black teas, Rooibos does not become bitter with a longer steeping time; in fact, it is at its best when allowed to steep for a few extra minutes. Since it is caffeine-free, Rooibos is an excellent choice for a relaxing evening. It is also said to have a positive effect on sleep.
Rooibos should always be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place, in containers that can be sealed tightly—and never near other food products that might affect its flavor.
In the table below, you will find our recommendations for brewing a delicious cup of tea, rich in nuanced flavors. Measurement Guide
