Tre Kullor is a hand-baked shortbread, where the good taste from the natural ingredients with Teff, sea salt, seeds and water from our own source is the basis of the bread. The doughs are put together by hand and then baked in the traditional way on trays in pastry ovens.
Teff is a gluten-free grain that has been cultivated for thousands of years and is native to the Ethiopian and Eritrean highlands. Leksand's teff flour comes from Spain. The fine properties of teff grits mean that you can bake a tasty and nutty seed cake without using wheat flour.
The tasty grits are also rich in fiber and are a good source of protein. Furthermore, Teff contains magnesium, calcium and iron. Superb, isn't it?
